As a University city Lancaster has an excellent network of live music venues that offer a diverse and rich range of music styles from Rag Time blues to Thrash Metal to suit all tastes. There are numerous museums, theatres and play houses that offer various entertainments and during the summer months Williamson’s Park hosts outdoor theatre with productions of children’s classics such as Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast to Shakespeare’s finest.
