The Chieftains long local history, is a local
favourite, and has been central in the town.

Bernard and Linda Shaw F.M.B.I.I time honored fellow members of the British Institute of Inn keeping, originally from East Lancashire have run a pub for 8 years in Manchester and then moved to Morecambe's Chieftain, developing the Chieftain for 20 years, into the famous Morecambe landmark you see today.

The Chieftain has an enviable reputation in the town for its good food menu's being served all day from 11.30 am to 3.00pm. With family room facility, this popular venue has many entertainment facilities too, including a local venue for Darts League's and sponsors local players.

Other sporting events are screened on the massive 42" Plasma Screens, with a pub full of local supporters, it is an atmosphere to be a part of, when local and national sporting event takes place.
