The Chieftain FC play in the Lancaster & Morecambe Grassroots Sunday League which in the 2008/09 season is actually sponsored by The Chieftain Inn.
The 2008/2009 season is drawing to a close and the Chieftain FC has had yet another silver laden season! In a gruelling game that held no bounds at Christie Park in May (12) the team ran out 4 – 3 winners against Tarnbrook in the Chieftain Grassroots League Cup Final.
